Candy Colon is a dynamic and accomplished business leader who knows how to bring her A-game to the table! She has a bachelor’s in business administration, a master’s in communication and public relations, and is a “Boricua” originally from Puerto Rico. With over 16 years of experience in business administration, marketing, sales, and communication, she is a true force to be reckoned with. Her passion for design, event management, and integrated marketing has earned her recognition as Employee of the Year in 2019, and her bilingual skills (English and Spanish) are just the icing on the cake!
As the Director of Marketing for Robert Slack, Candy is responsible for leading the charge in the company’s marketing and branding initiatives, keeping advertising compliance on point, and managing the corporate community through social media like a boss. She knows that teamwork is key to success, and she is dedicated to creating a positive and productive work environment for her colleagues. Oh my, and she is quite a multitasker! Not only does she excel in her role, but she also gives back as the Co-Chair for Slack Serves, Inc – the non-profit arm of the Robert Slack Family of Companies. Talk about using your skills for good!
But Candy is not all work and no play! When she is not crushing it at the office, she enjoys spending time with her loved ones, getting her heart rate up through exercise, giving back through volunteering, and busting a move at dance events with her daughter Alondra. She is always up for a new challenge and never tired of learning, making her a true lifelong learner and adventurer.
